A renowned illusionist debuts a trick that cannot be explained — and a government agent becomes obsessed with proving it's fake.
Written and directed by Ryan Jenkins and produced by Spencer Sherry, Anomaly was shot over three days inside the historic Cohoes Music Hall and stars real-life, world-renowned illusionist Eric Mead as a magician at the end of his run. When his closing trick turns out to be genuinely impossible, a government agent sets out to prove it’s a fake — and can’t.
It premiered at the Coney Island Film Festival, swept Best Dramatic Short and Best Overall Short at the Albany Film Festival, and made its television debut on WMHT and PBS.
